What is Corosolic Acid?

Corosolic acid is derived from the extract of Loquat Leaf. Experimental results in vivo and in vitro show that
corosolic acid stimulates glucose transport and promotes the absorption and utilization of glucose by cells, thereby
achieving its hypoglycemic effect. Corosolic acid excites glucose transpor, so corosolic acid is
also known as phyto

 

It is similar in structure toursolic acid, differing only in the fact that it has a 2-alpha-hydroxy attachment.
