Brain lysates were stained with anti-Hsp70 and anti-GAPDH antibodies on one, three or five days after an intraperitoneal injection of PQ-29. (B) The result of band intensity quantification from section A is presented. The histogram bars show the average normalized band intensity of Hsp70 quantified based on three independent experiments. (C) Rats were anesthetized and divided into four groups: TBI groups were traumatized, the other two groups were not. The PQ-29 groups were treated with intraperitoneal PQ-29 injections three times a week. DMSO was used as a vehicle.
